1. Who We Are
Mafia Live is an online multiplayer party game available on iOS and the web. This privacy policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
Display name — the name you choose when joining a game room. Stored in our database and visible to other players in the same room.
Email address — collected when you sign in with Apple. Used solely to identify your account. We never share it with third parties.
Game data
Game room state (players, roles, votes, phase timers) stored temporarily during an active game session and deleted after the game ends.
Device permissions we request
Camera — used for live video during gameplay. Video is streamed directly between players via LiveKit servers. We do not record or store video.
Microphone — used for voice communication during gameplay. Audio is streamed in real time and not recorded or stored.
3. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect location data.
We do not collect contacts or address book data.
We do not use advertising identifiers (IDFA).
We do not track you across other apps or websites.
We do not store your camera or microphone streams.
4. How We Use Your Information
To identify your account and connect you to game rooms.
To display your name to other players in the same room.
To facilitate real-time voice and video communication during the game.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate the app:
Supabase — database and authentication backend. Your account data and game state are stored here. Supabase Privacy Policy
LiveKit — real-time audio and video streaming infrastructure. Audio and video are routed through LiveKit servers during gameplay but not stored. LiveKit Privacy Policy
Game room data is deleted after a game session ends.
Account data (display name, email) is retained for as long as you have an active account.
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing us.
7. Children's Privacy
Mafia Live is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate data.
Request deletion of your data.
Withdraw camera or microphone permissions at any time through your device settings.
All data in transit is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. We follow industry-standard practices to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
